East Indian Rosewood is set apart from many woods through its range of colors. Each piece is unique, with any combination of black, violet, brown, purple, olive green, and blue undertones. Rosewoods take an exceptionally high polish and this species is no exception! The oily nature of the wood contributes to the high natural polish. This species is ideal for all woodworkers from beginner to expert. This wood has been air dried for one year and contains residual moisture. An occasional minor rough edge may be present. It is wax sealed on the ends or is completely wax sealed and is ready to twice turn. It cannot ship outside of the USA. This piece has a partial live edge. Please see pictures for details.
