INCLUDES 1 WOOD BLANK (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Oregon Big Leaf Maple is slightly coarser than European or Eastern Hard Rock Maple and as so is somewhat more challenging to work. Despite this, the beauty of the wood easily overcomes these difficulties. Maple is a wonderful wood for woodworkers who seek a creative flare in their woodworking projects. This blank is in the process of air drying and contains residual moisture. It has been wax sealed completed or on the ends. It has been rough cut and has not been planed or surfaced. This high quality blank is ready for your creativity! There may be minor checks or inclusions present. Size may vary +/- 1/8″.
